Building
Adaptive reuse of existing five story masonry and timber framed buildings (see article).
Lobby
Wall, ceiling panels and custom bench furniture was constructed from reclaimed Douglas Fir beams and columns salvaged from the existing buildings.
Recycling
The Building maintains recycling bins at each trash room.

Bathroom Faucets
Kohler ‘Purist’
WaterSenseSM labeled with 1.5 gpm water-saving aerators offer a 45% water savings over less efficient 2.75 gpm faucets.
For the average household, this can equal over 14,700 gallons of water.

Toilets
Toto ‘Aquia’
Water conservation ‘Dual Flush’ system:  Dual-Max® flushing system, High Efficiency Toilet, offers the option of a 1.6 gallon flush or 0.9 gallon flush
based upon need.

Dishwasher
Bosch
Energy Star® Qualified
Proving once again that Bosch is committed to efficiency, all of our dishwashers are Energy Star® qualified.

Ecosense®
An advanced sensor system determines the soil level in the wash water and automatically deletes fresh water fills if they’re not needed, cutting energy usage by up to 20%.

Unit Wood Flooring
Northern Hardwoods

All components of the Great Northern products are chosen for their responsible environmental impact.

  • All woods are from professionally managed “sustained yield” forests.
  • All glue used within the Great Northern flooring product are MR LFE “E1” standard.
  • The acrylic finish does not release any harmful solvents, formaldehyde or heavy metals. This flooring
    product does not harm the environment throughout its complete life cycle from production through
    disposal. Great Northern is the ideal floor covering for allergy sensitive people .

Kitchen Countertops
