The FP3 Gallery is located within the FP3 loft-style residential building and serves as a vital part of the award-winning collaboration between developer Young Park of Berkeley Investments, Boston architect David Hacin, and famed restaurateur Barbara Lynch. It was extremely important to Berkeley Investments to maintain the rich cultural history and artistic integrity of the Fort Point neighborhood when the group of buildings at 346 Congress Street was being transformed into the vibrant lifestyle destination in place today.

In addition to the stunning gallery, FP3 features housing for live-work studios for working artists, as well as Barbara Lynch’s Drink, Sportello, and Menton; all distinctly perfect restaurants to visit before or after viewing the art on display in the gallery. The gallery, located within the FP3 loft-style residential building is accessible by the MBTA Red Line (South Station) and the Silver Line (Courthouse Station).

For information about this exhibition at FP3 Gallery, including interviews and additional images from the artist, please contact Steve Pellegrino by e-mail at sjpellegrinoh2o@aol.com or by telephone at 617-688-1040.

Menton Named one of the Top 10 Restaurants in America

GQ has named Boston’s Menton restaurant as one of the Top 10 Best Restaurants in America, earning the number 8 position. Created by Barbara Lynch, one of Boston’s most celebrated chefs, Menton is described by the magazine as one of Boston’s ‘fanciest’ restaurants; cool and minimalist, with not a hint of color in the dining room, as well as gracious, serious, and luxurious.

Menton Dining Room

Created to be a fine-dining experience, the restaurant offers a seasonal four-course prix fixe menu with several choices for $95, and a set seven-course tasting menu for $145. The food has a propensity towards upscale French, lush, and rich cuisine. Along with the beautifully-executed fare, Menton offers an unparalleled wine program and gracious hospitality.

Located on the ground floor of FP3’s Luxury Residence, Menton strives towards creating a welcoming, comfortable ambiance for guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

Reservations are accepted up to one month in advance, and while they are recommended, they are not required.

After an almost forty year career in the advertising industry, Pracilio has successfully transitioned into a fine artist known for his powerful portraits and his ability to capture the essence of his subject. It was in 1993 that Paul left advertising to pursue a full-time career in painting. At first, his still life scenes and original compositions of outdoor markets attracted the attention of private collectors, but in 2002, an article in the New York Times featured a series of portraits and earned him additional recognition as an incredible portrait artist.

On Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 6-8pm, there will be an opening reception with the artist. So come on down to check out his work, you won’t want to miss this great show!

The FP3 gallery is located in the lobby space of FP3′s Luxury Residences, and is free and open to the public during their regular business hours, and regularly rotates the artist exhibits- stay updated on the latest artist to be featured and Gallery events by following us on Twitter, Fanning Us on Facebook, or visiting our blog for updates.
