Art New England Magazine's Art Salon Series at FP3

You may be wondering, ‘What is an Art Salon?’

A salon is defined as “a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase their knowledge of the participants through conversation.”  Salons are commonly associated with the literary and philosophical movements in France during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Join us for a modern-day Art Salon at FP3

An evening of cocktails and conversation with photographer Jack Dzamba.  View his exhibit and book, Paris in Boston.  The book is a collection of fine art photography, bringing to light the Parisian influence in so much of the art and architecture in Boston.

Did you know that the façade of the Boston Public Library is molded on that of the Bibliothèque Saint Genevieve in Paris?  Did you ever notice how much the Genzyme headquarters recalls Notre Dame in the evening?

This event is the premiere of Art New England Magazine’s new Art Salon Series as part of its Art Everywhere Project.  Cocktails will be provided by Cold River Vodka and Ambrosia Events and Catering.
